Can you all believe it’s June already? 2017 has completely flown by! I also just realized that it’s been over a year since we first started our blog. Things are starting to grow a little more on here, and we look forward to bringing you some really exciting updates coming up! Since we first started Kreative Kouple, we’ve talked about coping with performance anxiety in my first opera, making yummy summer cheeseburger salad (still a favorite of mine!), how to become a sports PA announcer, and what the best microphone is for beginners.
“Kreative” Father’s Day Gift Ideas
Since Father’s Day is coming up, we thought we’d give you a list of our top favorite “Kreative” Father’s Day Gift Ideas and help you find the perfect gift to honor your dad!
Sometimes I wish I could try out a bunch of coffee flavors and find out what I really like, without having to spend the money on a multiple bags of beans. If your dad feels the same as me, then this Bean Box Gourmet Coffee Sampler will give him 4 random flavors of coffee beans to try out! Or if your dad is already a coffee connoisseur, and you know what he likes, then you can go ahead and pick a 4-bag sampler of his favorite roast: dark, espresso, french, light, medium, or decaf! Bean Box Gourmet Coffee Sampler: $24
Does your dad constantly lose his keys, wallet, or cell phone? The Tile Mate Bluetooth Tracker attaches to anything you have a tendency to lose. Put this little guy onto your keychain and with the press of a button on your smartphone, the Tile Mate will emit a ringing noise. It also works in reverse – so if you lose your phone, then you can press the button on your keys and voila!…your phone rings. Tile Mate: $24.99
I mean, how cool is this t-shirt for a first-time father on Father’s day? “Achievement Unlocked” is a fun callback to X-Box videogames where you unlock certain accomplishments for the first time. Add a sweet “fatherhood” reference, and you’ll be melting a first-time dad’s heart for sure. Achievement Unlocked: Fatherhood T-Shirt: $18.99
For the fitness fanatic: These wireless, bluetooth sporty headsets are amazing. I actually have a pair of these and let me tell you – the sound quality that comes from these tiny little guys is amazing. I have had them for several years and have been very happy with them! If your dad loves beer, then he will love you even more for getting him this awesome “Best Dad Ever” Beer Gift Basket, which features 6 craft beers, a variety of gourmet snacks, a stainless steel bottle opener, and “Best Dad Ever” accessories, all presented in a reusable bucket! “Best Dad Ever” Beer Gift Basket: $69.99
We covered this one in our Mother’s Day gift idea post, but my mother-in-law loved the one we gave her so much that I think it’s worth revisiting for Father’s Day too. Easy Canvas Prints lets you upload your own personal photo to their website, and they create a beautiful, custom, canvas photo print to hang on the wall. What father wouldn’t love a professional family photo? Easy Canvas Prints: Starts at $13.99
Honestly, I’m not a good enough cook to use one of these. But my brother-in-law, who has become quite the chef, is! He asked for a mortar and pestle set one year for Christmas and has been using it ever since. This kitchen gadget is perfect for dads who love to cook! It crushes herbs, grains, spices, nuts, roots, tea, or even pills, and comes already packaged in a gift box. Swiss Porcelain Mortar and Pestle Set With Pour Spout: $7.99
We all know what a Kindle is at this point (or at least we should!). Bring your dad into the 21st century by gifting him a Kindle Paperwhite E-Reader this year for Father’s Day. The anti-glare feature of Amazon’s E-Reader is easy on your eyes, just like reading a book. And instead of carrying around just one book at a time, Dad can now carry around a whole electronic library in one place. Some of Kindle’s books are even available for free! Kindle Paperwhite E-Reader: $119.99
Something I know I’d like to do one of these days is take an ancestry DNA test to learn where my ancestors are from and connect with the past. If your dad is into genealogy or has a curiosity about where his family is from on a global scale, this test will allow him to find out just that, and will even track down whether or not he has Neanderthal DNA in his ancestry as well. Crazy, right? 23andMe DNA Test – Ancestry Service: $79

Don’t forget the card! Hallmark makes some sweet cards (like this one) that both Grandpa and Dad alike will love.
Let’s not forget the super-amazing dads to our sweet little fur babies! I know our cats, Brooke and Phoebe, would be so happy to get a little snack from their loving pet dad, Perry, on Father’s Day. 🙂
